Hamilton hungry to improve last year's performance in Baku
Lewis Hamilton is preparing for a Ferrari fight back in Baku this weekend. The Mercedes duo has recorded three one-two's so far this season, but the five-time world champion isn't getting complacent.
Last season, Hamilton won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix with a stroke of luck as his teammate Valtteri Bottas picked up a puncture in the closing stages.
Despite winning 12 months ago, Hamilton is desperate to improve on last year's performance on the streets of Baku.
"It's a really great track and it's one that I've honestly struggled at a little bit, particularly last year," Hamilton told Sky Sports.
"It will be interesting, and I'm going there with a mindset that I've got to try and improve my previous years' performance. I was fortunate to get the win there last year but I wasn't quick enough really through the weekend."
"So that's a place I expect Valtteri to be quick and I expect the Ferraris to be particularly quick."
