Valtteri Bottas leads Mercedes 1-2 in FP2!
Valtteri Bottas completed a perfect Friday by topping FP2 in Barcelona, half a tenth ahead of his team mate Lewis Hamilton.
Ferrari were a few tenths back, with Charles Leclerc just ahead of Sebastian Vettel.
Lewis Hamilton started the session with a couple of difficult laps, almost dropping it at both turn 10 and turn 12 as he struggled with tyre temperatures.
There were no such problems for Valtteri Bottas, who continued his excellent weekend by taking top spot early on.
The Ferraris threatened to go faster midway through the session when they bolted on the soft tyres and went fastest, but Mercedes quickly regained dominance.
Max Verstappen was again hanging off the coat tails of the top two teams, finding himself fifth.
Haas looked quick, with Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen sitting fourth and fifth at one stage, eventually ending P6 and P8 respectively.
Pierre Gasly was 7th, with Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat rounding off the top ten.
