Leclerc: "A pleasure to drive this car on the limit"

Charles Leclerc says it was a pleasure to drive his Ferrari to pole for the 2019 Austrian Grand Prix.
The Monegasque driver looked completely comfortable all throughout qualifying, always faster than his teammate Sebastian Vettel who was denied a chance of pole due to an engine issue in Q3.
Speaking immediately after qualifying, Leclerc called his car a pleasure to drive as he beat Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen to take the second pole position of his Formula 1 career.
“The car felt amazing. In P1 I struggled a little bit and then from P2 it was quite good and a big pleasure to drive this car on the limit," he explained.
“On what we tested in P2, we’re pretty happy with the choice we’ve made, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow."
His task to keep Hamilton and Verstappen tomorrow could be crucial as Ferrari opted to run the soft compound tyres in Q2 versus their rivals who instead opted for medium tyres.
