Max Vestappen is driver of the day after Hungarian Grand Prix
Max Verstappen has been voted driver of the day for his performance during the Hungarian Grand Prix. In the end, Verstappen finished the race in 2nd having led for the majority of the afternoon. That's now his 3rd podium in 4 races.
Verstappen drove a great race. The Dutchman managed to improve his race start and led from the first corner after huge pressure applied from Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
During the middle of the race, Verstappen had another battle with Hamilton. Some great racing followed and Hamilton couldn't find a way to pass Verstappen. Hamilton was forced wide which caused him to lose sometime.
Verstappen was then getting chased by Hamilton on fading tyres. Verstappen couldn't hang on but was able to pit for soft tyres. He managed to record the fastest lap of the race.
