Will we see a stronger Ferrari in Spa and Monza?
Ferrari have been well off the standard set by Mercedes in 2019, but Toto Wolff believes we will see a different Scuderia come the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in September.
Ferrari have been plagued by reliability issues, driver mistakes and bad luck this season, with both of their drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc being denied race wins because of these factors. However, at times they have been well off the pace of their rivals Mercedes and now appear to be slipping behind Max Verstappen at Red Bull.
Despite their struggles this season, which were evident in Hungary as they were over a minute behind the leaders, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff is confident we will see a different Ferrari at their home race.
"They have a very strong engine and less drag, and that's why we will see a very strong Ferrari in Spa and in Monza," Wolff told Motorsport.com after the Hungarian Grand Prix.
"I have no doubt that the conversation could be totally different than the one we're having right now."
