A statement has been released regarding the condition of Juan Manuel Correa with the driver remaining in a medically induced coma following the crash which killed Anthoine Hubert.

An update was posted on his Instagram account late on Tuesday evening confirming that he was still in a medically induced coma which he was placed into upon his arrival to the UK.

His condition has slightly improved but his respiratory functions continue to be supported by ECMO and a breathing ventilator. His legs are still a major concern as surgeons are unable to operate on them until lungs can support the surgery.

From everyone at GP Blog, our thoughts are with Juan Manuel Correa and his family and friends.
