Max Verstappen: "At the end of the day it's all about winning"
Max Verstappen has his goals and he is not scared to go for them. He is one of the most talented racers on the grid and has a reputation for aggression and being tough out on track. This doesn't worry the Aston Martin Red Bull driver who would rather achieve his goals than be liked by everyone.
The Dutchman knows that he is known for being a tough racer who will not back down.
"Like overtaking," Verstappen said to BBC Sport. "If I have to touch, I'll touch. It's not like it always needs to be in the cleanest way."
Verstappen doesn't care what other people think of him.
"Let's say it like this: after my career, if I would have won five championships but I'm maybe not the most liked person, for me that doesn't matter, because at the end of the day it's all about winning.
"And that maybe sounds arrogant, but I don't want to sound like that. I would do anything - or everything - to win. If it's a little bit - not dirty, but in a hard way - I will do it. I am not here to be the most liked person."
Verstappen wants to win and will hope that his car starts to perform so that he can reach his goals before too long.
