Super typhoon, Hagibis, has brought a halt to the Japanese Grand Prix weekend. It will arrive in Suzuka on Saturday, hence why there is no running of FP3 and qualifying. Stay up to date with the latest news about the storm with this liveblog.

The storm is expected to decrease when it reaches the mainland. However, heavy wind and strong winds are still expected to cause problems. Formula 1 has done so much work to prepare for the incoming Hagibis which including packing up the podium and protecting their garages with sandbags.

Formula 1 (should) return tomorrow at 10am (local time) with qualifying. That's providing they can tidy the track up and be able to race on it by that time. Three hours later, the race will start.
