Leclerc "didn't feel good on the medium compound" as Ferrari struggled in Mexico
Ferrari started the race with both cars at the front of the grid but they couldn't manage a double podium finish in the Mexican Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc was pushed back after Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas got themselves through.
Ferrari put Leclerc on the two-stop strategy, but Leclerc admits the car didn't feel good when running with the medium compound.
"The second stint was not particularly great I didn't feel good on the medium compound - I don't know why - the first medium felt better we did the first stop earlier to cover Albon and we knew it would be a two-stop early, but then everyone else did a one-stop," Leclerc told Sky Sports.
"I think I need to do some work in the race especially on the strategy has not been that good but I need to come on the radio and help the team make the right decision like Seb did."
Sebastian Vettel was also critical of the Ferrari strategy as he believes the team could have been "sharper".
