Verstappen fine with criticism from other drivers: "Shows you're in their heads"

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing star Max Verstappen has brushed off earlier comments from Lewis Hamilton about his driving at the Mexican Grand Prix, with the Dutchman saying it "shows you're in their heads" if other drivers talk about you.
After Sunday's race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, race winner Hamilton was very critical of Verstappen's driving as the two made contact on the opening lap.
Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas, who completed the podium on the day, agreed with the reigning champion, criticizing the 22-year-old Verstappen on his aggressive style of driving in general, and on the day in particular.
At Thursday's press conference, the seven-time Grand Prix winner finally responded to the remark as he didn't seem fazed by them.
"From my side, it was a bit of a silly comment to make," he referred to Hamilton blaming Verstappen on their collision at turn two of the race in Mexico.
"I think I am always a hard racer, but fair. I think it’s just not correct."
Verstappen went on to explain why it might actually be a good thing all three podium sitters were talking about him on Sunday.
“Of course it’s easy to have a dig at someone. But from my side it’s fine. I think it’s always positive when they talk about you because that means that you are in their heads. So from my side, I just focus on my driving and that’s enough said.”
