With Zandvoort set to return to the Formula 1 calendar Max Verstappen is set to get his own home race. Sir Jackie Stewart believes the race is very important for the man himself.

Zandvoort was confirmed earlier this year to host the first Dutch Grand Prix since 1985. Along with the Vietnam Grand Prix, the races will join the calendar making the 2020 season the longest in the competition's history.

Circuit Zandvoort is sure to be painted orange as the Dutch fans come out in force and Sir Jackie Stewart believes the race is important for a certain home driver.

"This Grand Prix will be important for the only Dutch driver. What did you say his name is?" Stewart joked as quoted by Motorsport.

"All the stands were orange in Spa this year, imagine what will happen in Zandvoort.

"He [Max] is a very talented driver and is becoming more mature. Max is increasingly making the right decisions. Well, or at least became less likely to take the wrong ones," Stewart added.
