BREAKING: Wolff confirms Mercedes "will definitely stay" in F1 in 2021!

After a period of uncertainty, Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has stated his team will "definitely stay in Formula 1 in 2021" as the Concorde Agreement is no longer a problem for the side.
Is was very likely Mercedes would stay in F1, with new big investments at the factory in Brackley having been made recently ahead of the 2021 regulation changes. Now, however, in an interview with Auto Motor und Sport, Wolff confirmed his team aren't going anywhere.
"Being present in Formula 1 is useful for us," the 48-year-old explained, who is in a joint venture with Mercedes.
"Mercedes will definitely be staying in Formula 1 in 2021, we want to stay."
Concorde Agreement
That makes it all but official the works team will stay on the grid as F1 heads into a new era in 2021. The Concorde Agreement, the main reason why Mercedes initially hesitated to stay, is no longer a problem according to Wolff.
"The Concorde Agreement is no longer an obstacle. We only wanted it to be balanced so the smaller teams have benefits."
