"When Verstappen has a good car, he will be hard to beat"

F1 legend Alain Prost thinks young star Max Verstappen will be "hard to beat" once he gets a good car, although the four-time champion does add the Dutchman currently lacks calmness at times.
Verstappen goes into 2020 on the back of his best season in Formula 1 to date, winning three races and grabbing two pole positions as finished 2019 in third place, beating both Ferrari cars in the standings.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing are expected to mount a more serious title challenge in 2020 with engine manufacturer Honda making big strides to catch up to reigning champions Mercedes.
Speaking at a conference hosted by Le Parisien, Prost shared his views on the current crop of drivers, and on what he thinks still lacks in Verstappen's skillset.
“The most complete driver right now is Hamilton, because he has experience and he is on a dedicated team," the 64-year-old, who was most successful later-on in his own F1 career, analysed.
"After, there are the likes of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. They'll be the two biggest threats for Hamilton.
"Verstappen needs to reel himself in a bit. It lacks a bit of serenity, a bit of calmness, to ensure certain overtaking. But when he does and has a good car, he will be hard to beat."
