Although 10,000 people have been quarantined, only six people have actually been confirmed to have the virus. However, Son Loi, which is 40 kilometers away from Hanoi, is where the people are being kept and unless the situation can be controlled then the Grand Prix in April might not go ahead.
Flights to and from Vietnam are already strictly controlled. People with symptoms of the virus are not allowed to leave the country and are kept under strict supervision. With all people traveling to and from the Vietnamese Grand Prix, the race weekend will also be examined for safety reasons.
