This is how Verstappen and Albon will split up testing duties in the first week
- Nicolás Quarles van Ufford
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing have released their schedule for the first week of winter testing in Barcelona, which starts on Wednesday, with the Bulls looking to go back to title-winning ways in 2020.
In their first year partnering up with engine manufacturers Honda, Red Bull and Max Verstappen won three Grands Prix in 2019. While this does not sound particularly impressive for a side with title aspirations, the latter stages of the season did indicate the Honda engines were up to Mercedes' standard. If they can carry on that form into the new season, which they have claimed they can, it could be a very promising 2020.
Testing
Winter testing in 2020 has a reduced schedule compared to previous years, with the traditional eight days of track-time being shortened to just six - three a week.
As all teams who have released their testing schedule have, Red Bull opted to give each driver a day and a half each in the first week, with Verstappen and Alex Albon sharing the RB16 this Friday.
Just Mercedes and Renault have yet to communicate what their testing schedule is, but have a look below at how every team plans to use its time at the Circuit de Catalunya this week.
