Morning Report: Vettel tops time sheet despite spinning and causing red flag
Sebastian Vettel has finished the morning session fastest with a 1m16.841 despite spinning and causing a red flag. There were two other red flags after both Max Verstappen and Antonio Giovinazzi also spun.
The session started slowly with the teams waiting for the circuit to dry out before setting off. However, after a few runs on the intermediate tyre, teams were able to get some solid lap times in and collect the necessary data that they need.
There were three red flags throughout the session. The first came when Antonio Giovinazzi spun and damaged the rear of his car. He managed to limp back to the pits but the marshalls had to clean the circuit before letting the session commence.

The second red flag was thanks to Max Verstappen who managed to beach his car on the gravel. This had to be moved before the session could start again. It's been a tough few days for Red Bull and they have not done as much running as they would have planned to.

The final red flag was waved because Sebastian Vettel spun and put a load of gravel on the track. The Ferrari had been running well and consistently put in some fast lap times and he was able to continue this good work after his spin.

The Ferrari drove well as well as Lance Stroll and Valtteri Bottas who all took turns at the top of the timesheet. Lando Norris clocked up some good laps and Williams recorded their fastest lap of winter testing.
