Ricciardo: "I didn't leave Red Bull to get from one team to another"
Daniel Ricciardo may have only been at Renault one season but he's having to play down rumours of a departure already. He's insisted that he's fully focused on growing with Renault and doesn't want to just jump from team to team.
Ricciardo joined Renault from Red Bull last season and in his first year with the team, they finished fifth in the Constructors' Championship. It was far from an easy year for Ricciardo and his new team as McLaren, who they supply an engine to, surpassed them for best of the rest.
However, the Australian has been linked with Vettel's seat at Ferrari when the German's contract expires at the end of the year.
Ricciardo played down the possibility of driving for the Scuderia and wants to focus on Renault.
"I can't answer that question. Sebastian has a good car, but I want the Renault project to work," Ricciardo said as quoted by Speedweek.
"I didn't leave Red Bull to get from one team to another, I want to get to the top with Renault."
