MotoGP also provisionally postpones sixth and seventh races of the season

Of course it was about to happen, but MotoGP has now also postponed the Grands Prix of Italy and Catalonia. As a result, the first seven races of the calendar have now disappeared from the motorsport class.

Of course, it does not come as thunder in clear skies, because in Italy and Spain the coronavirus is striking hard at the moment. With more than thirteen thousand deaths in Spain and more than sixteen thousand in Italy (figures from worldometer.info), both countries are in the top three with coronavirus infections and they only have America in front of them.

There doesn't seem to be a new calendar yet in MotoGP, which hasn't presented a new calendar since the postponed Jerez Grand Prix. Subject to reservations, the MotoGP season would now start in Germany on June 21, but it is expected to be postponed as well.
