Hamilton wary of competition: "They were amazingly good."

Should the season still start, reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton is on his guard. According to the Brit, the competition has made big strides at the end of last season.
These are bad weeks for the Formula 1 enthusiast. In February it was hard for us to imagine being in the situation we are in a few months later. There is no Formula 1 and absolutely no clear yet about the calender. There are a lot of rumors though. When we finally start a new title brings him next to Michael Schumacher, as if the Brit is not so busy with that.
"I don't want to think about it yet"
In conversation with F1 racing, the Mercedes driver says he was impressed by the progress made by some competitors. Should there still be racing, Hamilton looks at the competition with an oblique eye.
"The challenge we are going to have this season and the coming months if there is racing. Other teams have performed amazingly in the second part of the season last year. We will again have to perform amazingly, both the team, the people around the team and myself, if I don't want to think about that at the moment".
If Hamilton becomes champion one more time, he will most likely be the most successful driver of all time. With 84 victories he is only seven victories behind Schumacher. The minimum number you probably need to become a champion. So with a new world title it seems certain that he is the driver with the most titles and the most victories. On top of that, he already holds a record in terms of pole positions.
