Lando Norris had received a wild card to participate in the Supercars Eseries today. A digital championship in which Max Verstappen recently participated and did pretty well. Racing in these cars is quite a difference compared to Formula 1, also digitally. Norris however has a new wish and that is to drive a Supercar, but in real life.

Trying in real life

After the digital race Norris was asked if he wouldn't like to drive such a car in real life, to which the British driver answered "one hundred percent". The chance to do so is plausible, because McLaren team boss Zak Brown owns such a car.

Norris: "You know, Zak Brown has one. We went back to a track with that thing a couple of years ago. I wasn't able to drive it then, but he told me I could if we ever go back to a track."

"I'd like to. Especially since it's so much fun to drive it in a simulator. I'm sure it's even more fun to drive it on an actual track. Yeah, it's a handful, but in a good way. It's a lot of fun to drive."

Until then, however, Norris will have to make do with the digital version. By the way, he will be able to participate in the Supercars Eseries again next week, as he has received another wildcard.
