With Lando Norris and Max Verstappen, Team Redline presented an impressive line-up for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but competitor Veloce Esports is no match for this with three big names in their line-up.

More F1 drivers

During the weekend of 13 and 14 June, the virtual version of the Le Mans 24-hour race will be held on the simulation game rFactor 2. The event was set up by the organisation of the long-distance races and the teams were also enthusiastic. Next to the official teams, however, also teams from the virtual world will participate.

Veloce Esports will appear at the start of the virtual race with three teams. In team one we will see a third Formula 1 driver at the start with Pierre Gasly, who together with former Formula 1 driver Jean-Eric Vergne will form a team. The duo is accompanied by the Dutchmen Jarno Opmeer and Isaac Gillissen.

Verstappen in Le Mans

In the second team of Veloce Esports it is Stoffel Vandoorne who is responsible for the famous name in the line-up. The Formula E driver will be accompanied by Norman Nato and sim racers Eamonn Murphy and 14-year-old Tomek Poradzisz. The third team consists of James Baldwin, Sascha Fenestraz, Ryan Tveter and Tom Lartilleux.

Besides the strong line-up of Veloce, it was already announced on Wednesday that Norris and Verstappen will be in action for Team Redline and that's not all. With names like Felipe Massa, Andre Lotterer and Giancarlo Fisichella, Le Mans doesn't have to worry about a lack of attention for the virtual race.
