Webber: ''Sainz will soon end up in great chaos at Ferrari''

Sebastian Vettel will leave Ferrari at the end of 2020 and will be replaced by Carlos Sainz. An interesting choice of Ferrari, since Daniel Ricciardo was also a candidate for the seat.
"I was actually quite surprised. Daniel was the logical option for me to fill in that spot. He already has victories to his name and his contract expired as well. There also seemed to be a chance that this was going to happen'', says Mark Webber in conversation with Channel 4. However, the Australian doesn't want to do anything short of Sainz with that.
Ricciardo a better choice for Ferrari?
''Carlos is very professional and fits well with the brand of Ferrari. I also think it's fine that he has become it, but I have the feeling that he will end up in a big chaos. Driving for Ferrari is normally very hard and then you have Charles Leclerc as a very strong teammate'', concludes Webber.
Webber is not alone in his opinion, because David Coulthard complements him. ''I agree with Mark. Daniel would have been a more logical choice for Ferrari with his victory in his pocket and his command of the Italian language. Daniel is also just a little more aggressive than Sainz and that's exactly what Ferrari could use'", said Coulthard.
