Perez about Vettel: "It's clear who has to leave"

Sebastian Vettel will have no seat next year. At least, if the four-time world champion can't find shelter before then, because Scuderia Ferrari has decided not to renew the contract of the German. Vettel is in talks with Racing Point and Sergio Perez sees that with regret.
Vettel is still looking for a spot on the grid for 2021. A lot of places already seem to be filled for the next year, only Racing Point might have a spot left. The team will continue as Aston Martin next year. The current drivers are the son of the team's biggest investor Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez.
One of the two should clear the field when Vettel arrives. Perez says he already knows enough against Movistar+ F1: "I think it is clear who has to leave. I am a father myself and I wouldn't kick my son out. But I don't have much to say about it".
Options for Perez?
Lance Stroll is billionaire Lawrence Stroll's son. It seems unlikely that the youngster will stop in F1 as long as his father remains a major financier. Although Perez has a long contract with the team, there seems to be a clause in the agreement that allows him to leave. Another team would have already approached him.
"All contracts have clauses," Perez continues. "It has to do with my sponsors, based on my sponsors, that clause can be tapped. We are currently working hard with my sponsors to make sure this doesn't happen. It doesn't have to do with one partner, but it's a joint effort".
