'A podium finish at Silverstone would be a world achievement for Verstappen'

It is going to be a difficult weekend for Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing coming weekend in Silverstone. According to fomrer Bridgestone Engineer Kees van de Grint, Verstappen has to watch out for the Racing Points instead of attacking the Mercedes.
Podium already a world performance
Van de Grint, Ferrari's former tyre engineer, has a gloomy outlook for Verstappen during the two races at Silverstone. "I don't think you have to be a genious to predict that Mercedes will do well at Silverstone. A podium place there would be a world performance for Verstappen", says van de Grint at Slipstream.
"I'd almost say, if he gets under the first five, it's a good performance. Normally Racing Point should be very quick around there", continues van de Grint.
Driver can make the difference
"But Racing Point lacks a very good driver, maybe that way Max can still make a difference", concludes van de Grint. The Racing Points show a lot of speed the last few weekends and a high speed track like Silverstone could be a good fit for the team.
