Alexander Albon comes under increasing pressure. The Thai again failed to make it to Q3, so the question is how long Red Bull Racing will be able to keep its patience. However, Albon doesn't want to think about this yet.

Albon happy with improvements

In the video meeting after qualifying, Albon looks depressed. The Thai just had to settle for a thirteenth place in qualifying, while on the red tyres he got the chance to get into Q3. The car was a lot better for Albon this weekend, but the confidence is lacking on Saturday.

''The car is really getting better. The problem is still there, but it's getting better. With the wind here it is a bit more difficult to drive, but that bothers everyone. Friday the car felt a lot better for me. Today is hard to judge, because I missed the confidence because of the lack of time on the track," says Albon opposite GPblog.com.

The relegations at Red Bull Racing

Pierre Gasly was in a similar situation over a year ago. The Frenchman was promoted, but could not live up to the expectations and times of his teammate Max Verstappen. Red Bull relegated Galsy, as it had done before with Daniil Kvyat. When Albon is asked about that, the Thai denies the poor performance.

''I don't think it's going that badly. I could have won in Austria and then finished fourth and fifth. If that's bad performance, then I don't know. Of course it didn't go the way I wanted, but I don't care because it's not going as well now. I had a difficult qualifying session and just need to get more feeling with the car to get more out of the car over one lap'', concludes the driver of Red Bull Racing.
