The first Grand Prix at Silverstone again brought a number of surprises. Mercedes had to deal with flat tyres and Ferrari already achieved another unexpected podium. On Formula1.com Power Rankings have been set up again, where after every Grand Prix we look at how the drivers are performing. Striking this week is that Max Verstappen is not in the top 3 of the UK Grand Prix.

Although Verstappen is not in the top 3 this week, Lewis Hamilton is back there. The Brit is at the top with a score of 9.8. In second and third place are Charles Leclerc and Daniel Ricciardo, who finished third and fourth in the real race. In fourth place in the Rankings is Pierre Gasly, with a 9.2. After that Verstappen can be found.

Great performance of Verstappen

He's in fifth place, scoring 9.0. So there have been a lot of high grades this week by several drivers. "There isn't much more that Verstappen could have gotten out of the UK Grand Prix. He managed to limit the gap with Mercedes to a maximum of ten seconds, which is a great achievement", the judges explain.

In the final standings Verstappen is still in second place. Hamilton is still at the top. Behind the Dutchman are Valtteri Bottas and Lando Norris in a shared third place. Behind the two drivers is Ricciardo, followed by Carlos Sainz. Pierre Gasly and George Russell are in seventh and eighth place and Leclerc and Alex Albon, who returns to the top ten despite his inferior weekend at Silverstone, end the top ten.
