The Williams FW14B from the 1992 season is an iconic Formula 1 car. In that car Nigel Mansell managed to win his only championship and that is now the new addition of Sebastian Vettel, Bild says.

Lover of Formula 1 history

Van Vettel is known to be a lover of Formula 1 history and such an iconic car is of course a wonderful asset. Moreover, Vettel is more of a lover of the old engines than the hybrid engines of today and then the FW14B is of course a beautiful car to own.

The car came on the market recently and Vettel couldn't resist buying it. So he says to Bild: "The 'Red 5' was very interesting for me. It's an icon to me and it has start number 5 just like I have it."

The price that Vettel paid for the car is not known, but in 2019 another FW14B was auctioned off for about three million euros. So it was not cheap.
