Sebastian Vettel will go from Ferrari to Aston Martin next year. The dream of becoming a world champion with the Italian team has not come true and that will hurt Vettel, but also his fans. Among those fans is Moto GP star Valentino Rossi.

Before the 2020 Formula 1 season was underway, Ferrari had already announced that Vettel was leaving. Carlos Sainz was named as his replacement and so Vettel already knew that 2020 would be his last year before the lights went out. So the dream of becoming a world champion with Ferrari will not come true.

Rossi supports Vettel

Vettel was close in 2017 and 2018. The German was runner-up for the world title in those seasons and couldn't keep up with Lewis Hamilton. Mercedes proved to be too strong as a team, but Vettel would have liked to have fought for his dream. The great MotoGP champion, Valentino Rossi, was disappointed that Vettel didn't get the chance to pursue that dream.

"It is a great pity that this relationship has become so bad that it is coming to an end," says Rossi according to Motorsport.com. ''They've been twice as close to a championship, but each time they haven't won. It's bad to see the current situation, where the car is just too slow. Vettel is still a top driver and can show his speed at Aston Martin," says the seven-time MotoGP champion who, at 41, is still at the highest level.
