To say that 2020 is a special year is putting it mildly. Several circuits that we didn't expect to see on the F1 calendar have saved the season and there are still more to come. Up next, the Algarve circuit, near Portimao in Portugal. However, not all sessions will start at the usual times. So what time do the practice sessions, qualifying and the race start?

Free practice 1 and 2 start later than usual, however, the third free practice starts at the usual time. Qualifying also starts one hour later than usual.
The race however is set to start an hour earlier than usual.

  • Here is an overview of the starting times of all the sessions:

Friday

Free practice 1: 11:00AM

Free practice 2: 3:00PM

Saturday

Free practice 3: 11:00AM

Qualifying: 2:00PM

Sunday

Race: 1:10PM

So don't forget to tune in an hour earlier than usual on Sunday! All sessions will be on our liveblog, here at GPblog.com.
