Daniil Kvyat has only a small chance that he will still be in Formula 1 in 2021. The Russian sees this for himself, but also knows that there is not much he can do to change that.

End of Kvyat is near

Kvyat entered Formula 1 as an up-and-coming talent of Red Bull and was soon promoted to Red Bull Racing after a year at Toro Rosso. Too soon perhaps, because the Russian soon got the nickname of the Torpedo, after having been reckless in races on several occasions. He was returned to Toro Rosso, fired and then brought back to AlphaTauri. Now it seems the end of his run with Red Bull is in sight.

There are several drivers looking for a seat in the Red Bull teams. First of all, there is Yuki Tsunoda. When he gets his super-licence, nothing seems to stand in his way of a seat for 2021. Honda's departure seemed to throw a spanner in the works at first, but that did not prove to be the case.

Kvyat knows his place

''There are still six races to go and all I can do is keep doing my best. I know it is not an easy situation and there are not many seats left. For my part, however, I can only do my best during the upcoming races," said Kvyat to Racefans.net.
