Kvyat: "Maybe I'm an old school driver driving in the wrong time"

Where all the other Red Bull drivers had bad luck at Imola during the race or made mistakes themselves, Daniil Kvyat had his best race of the season. In the closing stages of the race he even had a good chance of a podium place, but in the end he was just short.
"Thank God I was able to achieve this strong result," he is quoted afterward by motorsport-magazin.com. "Of course, after the race, I think of the podium because it was so close. But in the end I was able to show a great race and it was really fun."
Last chance on the podium for Kvyat?
The fact that he had a great race was not only due to the battles, but also the nature of the circuit. Apparently, it suits him well, as it is one of the classic tracks in Formula 1. He says about Imola: "I love these old school tracks. So maybe I am an old school driver who drives in the wrong time."
Last season, Kvyat finished on the podium in the German Grand Prix, which was also crazy. He kept a cool head under variable conditions and retaliated towards Red Bull. It seems unlikely that he will be able to save his place this time.
