Jenson Button reflects: "I was so angry with myself"

Jenson Button will start next Sunday in the Silverstone 500, the final round of the British GT season. The Brit looks back on the 2009 season, in which he became world champion with Brawn GP.
In the Collecting Cars podcast, Button talks about how busy he was and how emotional he was when his engineer told him about the team radio that he was a world champion.
The pressure was on
"I won 6 out of 7 races, but then it went downhill. Then I felt the pressure. Then I qualified 14th in Brazil, while Rubens Barrichello was on pole. I was so angry with myself, angry with the team because of the choice of tires," says Button.
He calmed down a bit in the evening. "I had a beer with my dad and thought: Tomorrow I'm going to win the championship. I have to win the championship. My dad said, 'That's right, kid. I was so determined then." That clearly helped, because Button did win the championship after finishing in fifth place.
