Vettel hits back at doubters: "I am shocked that you ask that question"

Sebastian Vettel was back on the podium in Turkey for the first time in a long time. The German was asked whether he had proved that he had not lost his racing skills, which was a strange question, according to Vettel.
Vettel came to Ferrari in 2015 with high expectations. He hoped to help the Italians to regain the World Championship, having already won four world titles with Red Bull Racing. In the last two years, however, things have got tougher and tougher for Vettel, who has been surpassed by Charles Leclerc at Ferrari.
"I am shocked at the way you ask that question"
"I am shocked at the way you ask that question. The Formula 1 world goes very fast and you are always judged on your last race. We have had a difficult season and I have not shown my best races, but I have no doubt that I can do a good job in the car,'' said Vettel according to Motorsport-total.com.
"In my opinion, nothing has changed. I've been stuck in traffic a lot of races, because it's just very competitive in midfield. Sometimes I had good pace, but I couldn't show it. Hopefully, however, we can now look ahead with the latest developments," concluded the German.
