Will there be fireworks at McLaren? 'Expect they will push each other very hard'

Lando Norris has only been in Formula 1 for two years, but he is widely praised for his mature driving style and natural speed. McLaren, however, expects a step forward in the third season for the British driver.
No more excuses
Zak Brown, McLaren's team boss, agrees that Norris' expectations are high. "This year will be his third season in Formula 1, but I think it's time for Lando to stop being a rookie," Brown told Car And Driver.
Just because McLaren expects more doesn't mean the team isn't happy with the young Brit. "I think Lando has done an excellent job, if you look at what we asked him to do after the first year, our evaluation of the first season was that he had a great year."
More aggression
Key feedback towards Norris, was that they expected more aggression from him. "He showed a lot of maturity by not making the rookie mistakes that you always expect. I think he also showed his speed and we wanted him to step up his aggression a bit more."
Experienced teammate
With Daniel Ricciardo, Norris gets one of the most experienced and fastest drivers on the grid this season. Brown hopes he can be a great support to his young teammate. "Lando is a less experienced driver than Daniel, but I expect them to push each other very hard and I think Lando will continue to grow with someone like Daniel as a teammate."
