Gasly donates special helmet to the Senna Foundation
- GPblog.com
You may remember it, the special helmet Pierre Gasly wore at last season's Imola Grand Prix. It was a beautiful replica of Ayrton Senna's helmet that we unfortunately were not able to enjoy for long due to the Frenchman's early retirement.
Gasly drove with the helmet as a tribute to Senna, who died at Imola. Unfortunately, he was not much in the picture at the time, but one lucky fan will soon be able to look at it for the rest of his life. The helmet will be auctioned. In addition to the helmet that Gasly actually used during the Grand Prix, two 1:2 miniatures will also be offered.
Great news! Happy to contribute to this great cause. @ayrtonsenna pic.twitter.com/uqcD7c3wYV

Gasly is doing this in cooperation with the Senna Foundation, something he is very proud of. "The proceeds go directly to the foundation. That helps millions of children in Brazil by giving them good quality education. It might only have a small impact, but I am very happy to help," Gasly said.
Parts of the profits of the helmet sales will go to the Senna Foundation.
