Hamilton and Verstappen in fierce battle: 'Those guys are going to come to blows'

The battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen has really begun in 2021. Up until now this has always been fairly sporting and there has never been more than a little contact between the two during the races. David Coulthard thinks the two could still hit each other at some point this season.
The battle between Verstappen and Hamilton currently stands at one to one. This weekend the two will tussle further in the third race of this season. Coulthard says in conversation with the Daily Mail that this season has everything to become a 'classic season'.
Classic season in the making
"We’ve seen two great races, hopefully we will have a third and at some point those guys are going to come to blows," Coulthard revealed. The Scot is referring to the first corner in Imola, where there was already slight contact between Verstappen and Hamilton.
"I'm not, of course, advocating contact between two race cars but God does it give us some memorable moments. I think it has got all the hallmarks of a classic season," said Coulthard. This weekend Verstappen and Hamilton will continue their battle at the Portuguese circuit of Portimao.
