Hamilton full of praise: 'Just a remarkable job by everyone in this team'

Lewis Hamilton overcame a tough battle with Max Verstappen today, winning the Spanish Grand Prix with an overtake on Lap 59. Hamilton was chasing the Red Bull driver for a large majority of the race but was able to claim victory with a two-stop strategy which caught Verstappen and Red Bull out.
Praise for team decisions
"I was just hunting. I was so close for so long and I didn't think in doing that I was going to be able to make the tyres last. But I just managed to. It was a long way to come back from 20 odd seconds back but it was a good gamble, a really great strategy from the team," Hamilton explained after the race in an interview with Sky Sports.
"I know from experience that a one-stop is very hard to pull off and as soon as we had the pace and could have a shot at passing him."
Talking with Jenson Button after the race, Hamilton explained his confliction at what to do."I was about to have a shot at getting past him before I pitted right at the end and I was really conflicted. Do I come in or I do ignore the call and stay out? Obviously, I did what the team asked and naturally, that's because there's a great trust between us."
Happy Hamilton
Despite being involved in a tough battle all race with Verstappen, Hamilton explained how he was feeling after winning the Spanish GP. "I feel great. I feel I can go again. Obviously, the training is working and paying off. Such a close start there was a lot of rubber down on the right-hand side and the Red Bull had a great start."
"Just a remarkable job by everyone in this team. What a day."
