Turn 6 will be the next turn with track limits
- GPblog.com
In turn 6, the drivers have to be careful not to go too wide from this moment on. After Friday, track limits will be set in the long right-hander.
Another corner with track limits
Turn 6 is an important corner, as drivers make their way through it to the long Mistral Straight. Some drivers try to push the limits at Paul Ricard by driving outside the white line at turn 6.
Paul Ricard has no grass or gravel beds, the whole circuit is surrounded by blue and red asphalt stripes. These stripes do cause extra damage to tyres when drivers drive over them, but they still push the limits.
Complete first sector has track limits
Besides turn 6 there were already track limits in the chicane of turns 1 and 2, turns 3 to 5 and the chicane of turns 8 and 9. As previously announced on Saturday, the yellow kerbstones will remain in place.
