At the Red Bull Ring some minor adjustments have been made. For example, there are no longer any yellow bumps at the exit of Turn 6. Race director Michael Masi expects no problems with track limits in Austria.

There was a lot to do in France again: the track limits. At Paul Ricard they were partly solved with sausage kerbs that were for example at the exit of turn 2. Furthermore, almost the entire first sector was littered with track limits.

In Austria, it will not be a problem according to Masi, who reveals that Turn 6 has been modified: "At Turn 6 on the exit we've actually narrowed the kerb right up there and brought the gravel trap closer to the edge of the circuit," he is quoted by Motorsport.com quoted him as saying. A large part of the old kerbstones has been removed.

The only track limits left at the Red Bull Ring are in the last two corners. If four-wheeled cars are driven off-track in Turn 9 and Turn 10 with both, times will be taken away. "I think everyone's well aware of where the boundaries sit in those two corners, and is more than comfortable with them," Masi concludes.
