Max Verstappen won yet again in Austria and took his third win in three weeks, something that no one has ever achieved. Verstappen is very happy with the victory in front of a huge crowd of Dutch fans.

"Unbelievable, what a race. Of course I am very satisfied with this. I had little problems with both tyres. I don't know what to make of it, but it was very good," said Verstappen at Ziggo Sport after the race.

Extra pitstop

Just before the end Verstappen made an extra pitstop, because of a cut in a tire. "You don't feel a cut, because the pressure didn't come off. I have no idea where it happened. There were people going off all the time of course, so maybe between turn six and seven," continued the Dutchman.

"Silverstone is of course a different circuit. We were very competitive here. We will see in Silverstone, of course we have a very good car, but we have to get the potential out of it. So then you have to make sure we are there. If we do that I have a good feeling and confidence."

Grand Slam doesn't interest much

Incidentally, it was the first time Verstappen had achieved a grand slam in Formula 1. He started on pole, led every lap, had the fastest lap and won. What does Verstappen think of it? "As long as we win," concluded the Red Bull Racing driver.
