Verstappen realistic: 'You don't often get this type of race'

Max Verstappen didn't have to do much to keep Mercedes at bay. The Dutchman started from pole position and remained far ahead of the German team throughout the race.
It was not the first time Verstappen had been supreme in Austria, as the drivers also drove at the circuit a week ago. Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton were unable to make things difficult for Verstappen, so the team had to settle for the Dutchman having a bigger lead over Hamilton in the world championship.
Verstappen was more than relieved afterwards that he and his team were able to keep the car ahead of the Mercedes drivers. "It's actually hard to put into words because it was so enjoyable to drive and the weekend was the best it could be, zo let's hope we can carry on in the same way," he told Red Bull Racing's press release.
Silverstone GP
In two weeks time, the Grand Prix at Silverstone is on the program. Verstappen realises that it will be hard work again to take first place. "But for now, I'm really happy with the way the whole race went and you don't often get this type of race, so we all have to enjoy it."
