'I think Max is going to become a kind of Senna'

Max Verstappen took an easy win in Austria on Sunday afternoon. It was his third win in a row, clearly signalling his current dominance over his nearest challanger, Lewis Hamilton.
The Dutchman is simply a lot faster than last year, although Michael Bleekemolen thinks this might not be so simple. "I think the file went through the engine and that he has just that little bit extra HP", he said in conversation with De Telegraaf. "I wonder if he has more, because that's what Hamilton is just calling out. Maybe that's not so bad, but Max is just good from the beginning to the end. His whole team is based on that."
Verstappen seems to be on his way to his first world title, a feat that would not surprise Bleekemolen. "He has an enormous favour factor. That's not normal, because you see that in the world press as well. I think Max is going to become a kind of [Ayrton] Senna. Of course he has been a phenomenon for years. That was also someone like that who was unbeatable, beautiful and colourful."
Hamilton versus Verstappen
Hamilton is now 32 points behind Verstappen after the race in Austria. The Englishman will be hoping to make up some ground at the British Grand Prix, although he won't have an easy time beating Verstappen.
