The weather in the UK can be quite changeable, but this weekend is not. The teams will have to deal with high temperatures and lots of sunshine. The rain tyres can be left at home as the Silverstone circuit remains dry throughout the weekend.

This is reported Weather.com a day before the GP weekend. On Friday it will be about 25 degrees and during the rest of the weekend, the temperature will rise a bit more. Sunday, when the race takes place, the temperature can even rise to 28 degrees.

The asphalt temperature will also be quite high for that reason, which will make you have to be very careful when it comes to tyre wear. In the past (read: last season) we have seen Lewis Hamilton cross the finish line on three tyres because his rubber only just made it to the finish.

Bring sunblock

The grandstands will be packed as everyone who has been vaccinated or tested negative for the coronavirus can attend the Formula 1 weekend. The fans will have to bring sunscreen because the sun will be shining brightly on all days.
