Sunday night Lando Norris was robbed in London after his visit to the European Championship final at Wembley. The McLaren driver was unharmed, but the shock is still there. Prior to the British Grand Prix, the young Briton let us know that he is not yet in perfect shape.

Trouble sleeping

After the match, Norris was attacked by two men. One grabbed him and the other took his watch from his wrist. Physically, he was unharmed, but the robbery certainly took a mental toll on Norris. "I've felt better, I can say that," he told Sky Sports.

"I'm not in perfect shape, I'm not going to lie about that," Norris continued. "Mentally there's some work to be done, but obviously I talk about that a lot." He also didn't exactly have a good night's sleep the last couple of days. "I haven't slept very well, so that's not ideal, and I'm a little sore."

Norris remains positive

Fortunately, Norris isn't sitting on his hands and is looking forward to this coming weekend. "I'll make sure I'm feeling better and in the best shape possible. I feel like I can still go out there and focus on the work I need to do, so that's the main thing." Norris is currently fourth in the championship.
