Formula E standings: Nyck de Vries and Robin Frijns battle it out

Thanks to a fantastic weekend by Nyck de Vries in London, the young Dutchman is now the new leader in the Formula E standings. Thanks to two-second places, he has moved up from the bottom of the top ten to second place.

The differences are, with two races to go, very small. Two Dutchmen are in the lead after the two races in London. Nyck de Vries has 95 points, Robin Frijns 89. There is a big chance that the two Dutchmen will fight for the Formula E championship.

Tension for third spot

Behind them, the differences are very small. Sam Bird, Jake Dennis, Antonio Felix, Alex Lynn, Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans are only six points apart. In short: behind them the battle for the last spot on the podium is also very exciting. Frijns and de Vries are anything but certain of their place in the top 3.

The last two races are held in Germany. During the weekend of August 14-15 the Formula E season will be decided in Berlin. Then we will see if a Dutchman will become champion.
