The Formula One drivers are gearing up for the final race before the summer break. The drivers will take on each other in Hungary this weekend, with the battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen more exciting than ever.
The two drivers last met at the Silverstone circuit, when Hamilton and Verstappen collided hard. The Englishman eventually won the race, while Verstappen had to go to hospital due to the hard crash. The world championship front-runner then expressed his distaste for the jubilant Hamilton who celebrated his victory extensively in his home country.
Battle between Red Bull and Mercedes
Team bosses Christian Horner and Toto Wolff have fought it out in the media several times in recent days. Analyst Kees van de Grint states at RTL Slipstream that he doesn't expect there to be a major row, however. "That has already been, Silverstone is history. This is for the stage", he says, who also saw Helmut Marko express his anger. "He also knows very well that it has worked out. Hamilton has the points, Red Bull has a lot of costs. New round, new chances in Hungary."
Verstappen's Red Bull reportedly has a lot of damage. "But more important is how Max's physical condition is doing. Yesterday he drove well, but that was from the garden chair. If he's fit, we're just going to see an exciting race."
