Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will battle it out for pole position at this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. The seven-time world champion needs to make up eight points to keep Verstappen from the lead before the summer break.
Red Bull Racing looks to have a good chance of grabbing the most points again after the incident at Silverstone on Sunday. Verstappen has been in great form this season and the Hamilton accident is expected to have put him on edge. Should Verstappen start from pole position, it won't be the first time for the Dutchman. "Max scored his first-ever pole position for Red Bull Racing in 2019 at the Hungaroring," Red Bull summed up the facts in the press release.
With winning the GP, Verstappen gets to take even more records off the books. "If Max wins this weekend at the Hungarian Grand Prix, this will be his 16th win - overtaking Jenson Button’s record and levelling with Stirling Moss."

Incidentally, the incident with Hamilton also provided an interesting fact for Verstappen. The Red Bull driver managed to achieve something that no driver has managed before. "Max is the first driver in a world championship to have scored a point at a Grand Prix in which he did not complete a lap. He scored three points for winning the Saturday sprint race."
