Hamilton had a tough time: 'Think I lost three kilos today'

Lewis Hamilton did not have an easy time during the second free practice in Hungary. The British driver tried hard to outclass his competitor Max Verstappen, but the track conditions made it complicated.
The seven-time world champion went back on track after the much discussed British Grand Prix. In Hungary, he had to watch Verstappen set the fastest time in the first free practice session, but a few hours later Hamilton was faster than his rival. "It was scorching hot! I lost a lot of weight today. I think I lost three kilos between practice sessions today", Hamilton told Formel1.de.
Hamilton was nearly three tenths faster than Verstappen during the second free practice session, while he fell nearly three-hundredths short of beating his teammate Valtteri Bottas. "The tyres just melted out there. It's quite difficult to find the balance," Hamilton said.
Problems for Verstappen too
The British driver was not the only driver to complain about the balance, as Verstappen also experienced quite a few problems. The Red Bull driver even decided to come in and have his team look at his car.
