Hamilton holds the advantage in Hungary
Lewis Hamilton looks set to take the win, with his loyal teammate Valtteri Bottas starting alongside him. However, the Red Bulls will be starting on softs, which is likely to give them a better chance of getting away at the start and in the opening stages of the race. Mercedes have more flexibility in tyre strategy as they will start on mediums, but Pirelli say that on paper a two-stopper is the faster strategy.
Verstappen's power unit changed after all
Initially, the brand new Honda engine seemed to have survived Verstappen's crash at Silverstone, but after qualifying it appeared that it had to be changed after all. This has no immediate consequences for the Dutchman, but he will face a grid penalty later in the season as he will be forced to use an extra engine.
