Hamilton does not report to the press; driver visits team doctor as a precaution
- GPblog.com
After the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was almost inaudible. The seven-time world champion was exhausted on the podium, where Esteban Ocon even helped him to climb on the podium. The Briton had to go to the doctor for a short visit.
Hamilton looked very tired after race
Hamilton did not show up at the post-race press conference and Mercedes let us know why. "Lewis Hamilton is with the team doctor, he is suffering from fatigue and slight dizziness," Mercedes reported on the team's Twitter channel.
Hamilton looked exhausted on the podium and footage showed he could barely get his trophy in the air. Even the bottle of champagne seemed too much for the Mercedes driver. Hamilton will not be coming to the famous 'square' for interviews, but did eventually join the press conference.
UPDATE: @LewisHamilton is currently seeing the team doctor, suffering from fatigue and mild dizziness.
